We   Build   Experiences

The main goal of the Palm Harbor University High School Robotics Club is to bring knowledge, understanding, and inspiration to students, our future for technological innovation. We teach our students the basics of engineering, Java programming, and Computer Aided Design (CAD), and we hope to continue to do so. Our club is proud to have produced many students that have gone on to become engineers in fields from software to mechanical engineering. We believe that our club has made a positive impact on our community and future engineers.

PHUHS Robotics Speaks out at School Board Meeting
On Tuesday, September 8th, Club President Aabhas Jain delivered a speech to the Pinellas County School Board on behalf of the rest of the board and the club as a whole, advocating for us and every other robotics club in the county to be able to meet this year, with appropriate safety guidelines "far stricter" than those for athletics, which have been meeting.  Superintendent Dr. Michael Grego offered to personally look into the issue and contacted the school the next day to make sure that they would meet with us and make a plan; we were even featured in the news about it!

Thank you to everyone who helped us organize our plans, the whole robotics board and our mentors for working tirelessly to advocate for us at all levels and develop the speech, Aabhas Jain for delivering the speech at the school board meeting, and, of course, Dr. Grego and the entire school board as well as our school's administration for working with us to ensure that we can operate safely.  We are looking forward to safe meetings and competition this year!
